The Autumn/Winter 2011 season marks the 30th anniversary of
Karen Millen and to thank us:) for our loyalty KM are hosting 30
parties in 30 cities around the world, in addition to special offers, launching
an inspired 30th anniversary gift collection and more.
Well I don’t really know about the other parties that Karen
Millen hosted around the world, but I can surely tell you about Dubai Fab
Party! The thing is that I really don’t know where to start,
I mean the Collection itself was like celebrating “Richness” by using extremely abundant colours, textures & paterns, the patern for example in signature dresses is printed alongside each other in order for it to flow around the contour of the body, as for the lace in some designs has been toughened by cutting it into a strict silhouette with military epaulette and glossy metal work, couldn’t help but notice the details in each and every piece, it is indeed the craft behind every design! The crowd at
the show was truly exceptional almost all of the Dubai Fashionistas did not
miss it out! I can say there were 2 catwalks at the party!;) The ambience was
so relaxed that for once I felt as if it was a Fashion girls night out! One of
the most talked about events this year! Well done KM :)
