When did size 6 become a PLUS size?

Twenty year ago average fashion models weighted 8% less than the average woman, today they weight 23% less, and most runway models meet the Body mass index physical criteria for Anorexia.
Ten year ago plus-size models averaged between size 12 and 18. Today the need for size diversity within the plus-size modeling industry continues to be questioned. The majority of plus-size models are between a size 6 and 14, while the customers continue to express their dissatisfaction! does that mean that 14plus is now considered obese?
The most over-used word in fashion and beauty marketing right now is “aspirational.” Advertisers want to show consumers better versions of themselves, this is what they claim, are we better skinnier? More than once we've fallen for buying a bikini from Victoria’s Secret because it looked so amazing on the model, especially for designer fashion where all is about the fantasy. What do you think? Are the plus-size women missing out on their better versions?  Are we buying fantasies that eventually will turn into nightmares ? or Could a size 8-10 model be the next Kate Moss?

I have seen super stylish & sexy women size 8 to 14 and also model looking fashionistas size 6 to 8... it's about HOW you feel good about yourself not the number you read on the tag on the scale!

(Check out Plus-size 6-14 " Closer to Normal ;) size" models pix below...( the models we see now on the runway and in the ads are in general size 0 or 00)
