Popping color-block, graphic prints and bold florals dominated the runway last night as Saks Fifth Avenue presented their Spring Summer 2012 collections at the iconic DIFC, Under the Gate. Right in the heart of the city, over 700 VIPs had their RSVPs in check while the show set the tone for the upcoming seasons hottest trends.
With the introduction of over 40 new designers into Saks Fifth Avenue this season, the range surpassed expectations. Bringing an expertly edited collection from the most coveted menswear and womenswear designers, the show featured key trends from designers including Andrew GN, Azzedine Alaia, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior Homme, Kenzo, Carolina Herrera, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, Jil Sander, Nina Ricci, Manish Arora and Zac Posen. New and exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue, Paco Rabanne and KaufmanFranco, made a stunning and welcomed appearance on the catwalk. Post runway festivities continued with a fabulously fashionable after-party at the Michelin-star restaurant Hakkasan, at Emirates Towers.
