Louis Vuitton Saying Bye Bye to Marc Jacobs? or What?

Louis Vuitton has just announced that they are planning to unveil an exhibition during Milan Fashion Week that will pay tribute to their artistic director of 14 years, Marc Jacobs who successfully created the house’s first ready-to-wear line. And this exhibition, which sounds a lot like a retrospective, will be a great way to do it.

This exhibit is like adding fuel to the Marc-Jacobs- going to-Dior rumors!
Katie Grand, who has long styled Louis Vuitton shows and ad campaigns with Jacobs, will curate the exhibit, which, according to Women’s Wear Daily, will pull from the more than 70 collections he’s designed for the historic French label since his installation as creative director in 1997.
Well, if last season’s front-row chatter was all about who would replace John Galliano at Dior, expect next season’s to focus on who might replace Jacobs at Vuitton.
Can't wait to see the playful spirit of Marc Dior's Chic Classics! but not now... I don't think Marc is ready to leave LV yet...
