With only 170 bottles in Dubai, for exceptional women, "La Femme Bleue" is a new fragrance by Armani Privé. 1000 numbered bottles in the world were produced paying tribute to the Tuareg woman, a blue nomad crossing the desert .
Mr. Giorgio Armani inspiration was the journey through the desert following a Tuareg caravan, the nomad people who have become the esthetical reference for his latest collection, and also the blue color and its countless variations, mystery, depth and shadows.
I can say after trying it out at Harvey 2 days ago, it’s a unique and exclusive fragrance, the smell provokes a particular feeling of elegance and distinctiveness and it evolves on your skin. It’s indeed a Haute parfumerie!
Serge Majoullier, the nose behind the scent, explains. "It’s not easy to translate the idea of deep blue, I found the way by blending oriental and vanilla notes, perfect to evoke a hot starry night; so I added to black iris, which is dark blue in nature and whose scent at times verges on chocolate, a woody background. This way the fragrance is not just floral".
